What Are Digital Dentures?
As of January 2021, Apple Denture & Implant Solutions is proud to announce the transition from analogue (old-school way of fabricating oral appliances) to Digital dentures. We are excited to introduce Apple NeatFit™ Digital dentures – the biggest leap forward in the field of denture fabrication since 1851, bringing better comfort, fit and esthetics to our patients at the same affordable prices.
In order to implement this new technology into our practice, we opened our own Apple NeatFit™ Digital Denture Laboratory (also known as the “lab that never sleeps”) with high-tech equipment, such as 3D Printers and CAD/CAM milling machinery. Learn more about the new process, what to expect and the benefits of this new revolutionary technology below or CALL US TODAY to book a complimentary consultation with our denturist.

History & Evolution of Digital Dentures
There was pretty much no change in the way dentures were made for over 150 years. Charles Goodyear discovered how to make flexible rubber and this process was patented in 1851. This rubber (resin), named Vulcanite, was used along with porcelain teeth to make dentures until the middle of the 20’th century until plastics became available. Materials changed slightly, but manufacturing procedures remained the same up until several years ago. This procedure has and still is being used around the world.
Fortunately, recent advancements in technology and materials allowed dentistry to make a huge leap in the denture fabrication process. We are excited to announce that Apple Denture & Implant Solutions has made a switch to Digital dentures and is proud to provide unparalleled service to our patients.
CAD/CAM Process
CAD/CAM Process is the way of designing oral appliances using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software and producing them with extreme accuracy using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing), which uses computer-controlled machinery to manufacture dentures. We currently use Dental 3D Printer to produce prototypes and 5-Axis Dental Milling Machine to produce final dentures.
